Intel Licensing and score for The Invisibles
Ernest would like to congratulate Shiouwen Hong for her film Understatement making it into the 2009 MetroCAF festival. The screening is on October 1st. Understatement has also been selected for the “Up And Coming International Film Festival” in Germany and the “Moving Image Film Festival” in Toronto. Ernest recently licensed several tracks to an Intel web campaign. Ernest just finished up music for Nicole Brending’s new film, as always it was a pleasure working with Nicole. He’s mastering a record for Michael Cohen’s project with The Jews of Uganda and he recently placed some new music on Inked and is currently working on some web spots and provided a track to the latest NY Food Bank spot. He also found out he is a recipient of an ASCAP Plus award.

Ernest is doing Pre Scores for Nicole Brending’s film “Grandpa” and will also be starting on her film “Rosemary”. He recently completed another round of Ring Tones for APM. He would like to congratulate Shiouwen Hong, Maya Anand, Sherman Payne, Carys Edwards, Ryan Demler and Bette Gordon on their recent screenings. Ernest either scored or contributed music to all of their recent films. Ernest will be mixing Joe Kiernan’s jazz record this month.

Ernest recently finished up the score to Hotel, a short film by Daniel Schanler. He is also scheduled to mix the film next month. Handsome Harry, a feature that Ernest wrote, recorded and mixed 3 solo piano pieces, one played on screen by Campbell Scott, will be shown at the Tribeca Film Festival in April. Ernest will be receiving the Henry Mancini Emerging Film and TV Composer Award from The ASCAP Foundation on December 10th in The Allen Room at Lincoln Center.
